For this project, I was required to create a design for an energy drink called “triUMPH.” I used Illustrator to create a composition incorporating provided elements like the nutrition facts and barcode. I started by selecting a fitting royalty-free image with a cool, refreshing color scheme and organic shapes as the background. Using the Image Trace tool, I turned it into a vector background, simplifying it for clarity. Placing essential labels and text, I sampled a lilac color from the background for the nutrition facts label. For the logo, I chose a font I found fitting and featured “tri” in white with effects like Water Paper and Plastic Wrap, while “UMPH” used a light lilac with similar effects. Integrating the image’s colors throughout the design process was enjoyable, as was experimenting with various effects.
