For this project, I was required to create a digital collage, and I chose to base it on the magic I found as a child. The collage includes a young photo of myself along with several photos I took in New Zealand years ago.
I began by selecting a theme, followed by choosing photos that fit well. I picked the photos of New Zealand because it is the most magical place I’ve visited in my adult years. From there, I sketched out layout options and imported all the photos into Photoshop. While working in Photoshop, I focused on using a mixture of hues and implementing layer blending to create an otherworldly feeling.
